Nintendo announced today that the newest Legend of Zelda title won’t just be playable for E3 attendees; it’ll also be available to 500 lucky Nintendo fans at the Nintendo NY store.

Only the first 500 people in line when the store opens on “Super-Fan Signup Day”, Saturday, June 11 9am EST, will receive a wristband. This wristband will be exchangeable for a ticket that secures them a spot to play the Legend of Zelda during selected times while E3 is going on June 14-19.

This six-day event will begin at 12:00pm EST on June 14, when a live stream from E3 will be shown on the store’s 15-foot screen. This will mark the world’s first in-depth look at the new Zelda’s gameplay. Following the presentation at 3pm EST, the 500 pre-selected fans will be able to play the game for themselves.

Last but certainly not least, from June 15 to June 19, Nintendo representatives will also be giving live “guided gameplay” demonstrations. In true Nintendo fashion, the event will also include some The Legend of Zelda trivia for fans to have a chance at winning some great prizes.

Legend of Zelda fans have been eagerly awaiting the newest game in the series for both the Wii U and Nintendo’s mysterious NX console. Since the game’s announcement in January 2013, precious little information has been detailed about this new entry in the series, other than the fact that it will be playable on the E3 show floor.
