System Shock Remastered, not to be confused with System Shock 3, will launch its Kickstarter campaign at the end of next month.
Night Dive Studios has posted a short Facebook video where it teases that the anticipated remake is “Coming to Kickstarter near you” on June 29, 2016. The video is basically just a variation of the game’s logo. You can watch it below.
The only thing we know about System Shock Remastered is that it’s going to be faithful to the original title as much as possible, while still appealing to modern sensibilities.
Personally, as someone who never played the original System Shock but always wanted to do so, I’m excited for the prospect of playing a newer version of the game. However, if you don’t want to wait until the remastered version is released, you can give System Shock: Enhanced Edition a go through GOG.
We’ll finally see more of System Shock Remastered come June 29.
