Update: Both video and website were taken down since yesterday. This may indicate that the game was outed a bit prematurely, or that Square Enix is planning to make an official announcement soon.
Square Enix is returning to the basics with their latest mobile title – Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius.
Brave Exvius features classic turn-based combat, and is being developed for iOS and Android devices with stunning visual quality.
Very little has actually been announced about the story and release date, however Square Enix is currently pre-registering players through the game’s official website. Registration numbers will contribute to an overall goal system, similar to a crowdfunding site, and will unlock special items, characters and abilities for all of the registered players when the game becomes available.
The name and gameplay for Brave Exvius mirror Square’s other recent title, Bravely Default, but we’ll have to wait and see just how similar they are when more details are released.
