Itching for a new dungeon-crawling RPG? Well, Compile Heart’s MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death might be just for you. Today saw the announcement that this popular PS Vita title will be making it’s way to North America and Europe this fall.

In MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death, you’ll make your way through tower mazes with a group of heroines and giant mechanical Guardians, in the hopes of restoring the celestial bodies to motion. Your allies can also be customized in a variety of ways to fit your combat style against a plethora of enemies wielding the elements against you.

Since MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death is the second game of the series, you may have some catching up to do. Here’s a short recap of the story so far:

“First, the winds stopped. Then, birds vanished from the skies. Finally, the sun set… And an eternal night fell upon the world. The reason was quickly identified. It was a story told of in legends. The world had ceased hundreds of years ago as well. But there was a legendary mage who had managed to restart it. Thus, elders gathered capable young Machina Mages from around the world. They sent them to the legendary city: Machina City, Southern Cross. You must restart the world, and bring an end to this eternal night. That is your mission, and your destiny. Now, go forth on your journey. Go, Estra!”

MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death will be available both physically and digitally this Fall, only on PS Vita.
