Mighty No. 9 has gone gold and will definitely come out this June. Definitely. We are completely sure about it this time. Well, pretty sure… OK, there’s a good chance Mighty No. 9 is coming out in June.

The game was first announced almost three years ago, and after a successful Kickstarter campaign it was set to be released in 2015. Many delays later, here we are, with the “set in stone” release dates of June 21 in North America and Asia, with a worldwide release following on June 24.

This announcement came directly from game director Keiji Inafune, who took the opportunity to once again apologize to fans and backers for the many delays, and promise them this is indeed the final release date.

Mind you, the June dates are only for the console and PC versions. The PS Vita and 3DS versions will be released “at a later point”, with no indication to when that might be.

Fans must to be excited to finally play the Mega Man series’ successor come June 21, on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
