Japanese developer, Experience Inc., has announced their new Xbox One exclusive RPG titled, Yomi wo Saku Hana.
Yomi wo Saku Hana (The Flowers that Ruptured the Underworld), is the new RPG by Experience Inc. It is an Xbox One exclusive and is set to be released in 2017. The teaser trailer doesn’t feature any actual gameplay, but according to a Neogaf forum translation of the trailer, the game has been described as a “Hack and Slash RPG”.
The beautiful art style reveals a more ancient setting with plenty of fantasy horror elements like ghostly warriors, and streets filled with decayed bones. The game also takes place in the same universe as the developer’s previous titles, Students of the Round and Stranger of Sword City.
Although the title is reminiscent of earlier games from the developer, the gameplay will be decidedly different as it won’t feature any major dungeon crawling or class systems. As of now, Experience claims that there are no plans to port the title, however in an effort to play fair, their next game will reportedly be tailored to PlayStation consoles.
