The next Call of Duty game is Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, if we are to believe a string of recent leaks.

The name first came from a post on Reddit that shows a listing on the PlayStation Store. The listing appeared at the Trending section of the store, which you can see in the image below. According to the user, clicking on the title led to an empty page, so that listing was clearly put there a little too early.

However, that’s not the only place the name Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has appeared. A more recent Reddit post has an image of a pre-order card for the title. The card is for the game’s “Legacy Edition”, and shows the box art and a release date of November 4. But what’s more interesting is that the card also states that this edition “also includes” Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.

With two sources showing the same information, it is safe to presume that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is a thing. An official announcement is rumored to arrive on May 3, so we don’t have long to wait to find out if this is indeed true.

Previous rumors about the next Call of Duty title claimed that it will be a Sci-Fi shooter. With a name like Infinite Warfare, it can be the case, though the box art doesn’t exactly scream “futuristic”.

Activision has already confirmed it will not have a booth at E3 this year, but that its latest games will be showcased through it partners. Call of Duty will be at Sony’s booth, for example.
