The Gears of War 4 open multiplayer beta will start on April 25, so Microsoft and The Coalition have released a new gameaplay trailer showing some of the multiplayer madness we can expect to see.
The beta will feature a few new modes, like Dodgeball and Escalation, as well as returning modes like Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill and Execution. Of course, we’ll also get to play as whole new characters and kill each other with brand new cool weapons. It’s all detailed in the video, though the Dropshot looks like a real game-changer for those who like to stick behind cover.
Participants in the open beta will receive a bunch of rewards when they hit level 20. These will include the Vintage Kait character skin, vintage weapon skins, and an emblem.
Gears of War 4 will be released on October 11, on Xbox One and Windows PC.
