Revenge is a one way road in 2K Games and Hanger 13’s story trailer for their upcoming title, Mafia III.
Based on 1968 New Orleans, New Bordeaux is a historic city in the southern United States that has survived countless injustices and natural disasters. Players will explore this city through the eyes of Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam war veteran. After returning home from the war, he bears witness to the annihilation of his friends in the Black Mob, by the ruthless Italian Mafia.
2K also teased the Collector’s and Deluxe Editions that will be available upon release. Available physically and digitally, the Deluxe Edition will feature exclusive content as well as access to the game’s Season Pass. The Collector’s Edition features all of content of the Deluxe Edition, with extra physical goodies such as a vinyl copy of the soundtrack and a collectible art book.
The trailer also reveals the “Family Kick-back” pre-order bonus. The content will include 3 exclusive vehicles, as well as special weapon packs, all available upon launch.
Players will be able to create their own path of bloody vengeance to the beats of a sweet soundtrack, when Mafia III is released October 7, on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
