Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter is the newest and latest in Frogwares’ Sherlock Holmes series. The game was announced back in October 2015, and since then we only got to see one cinematic trailer.
Now, thanks to AllGamesDelta, we get to watch 16 minutes of raw, unedited gameplay from the game. Be warned – it contains minor spoilers, as it shows a few investigations and more dialogue then you can shake a walking stick at. Still, it doesn’t divulge any story details or solutions to puzzles.
The gameplay itself seems fairly standard for a Sherlock Holmes games. Investigations are done in the same manner as in the previous game, where Sherlock builds a profile of the person in front of him, and then confronts them with their lies. We also get to see a short stealth segment where you play a different character then the world’s most famous detective.
However, the video best serves to show us Holmes’ and Watson’s new look. The pair appears to be much younger and wilder than in the other Sherlock games, probably to resemble the versions of the duo from various TV shows.
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter is out May 27 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
