The first Gears of War 4 trailer is finally here, and it looks pretty damn great.
Set to the haunting Sound of Silence cover by Disturbed, the teaser trailer shows Fenix Junior being chased through a dark forest, while images from his happy childhood flash on screen. At the end of the trailer we discover that JD is actually running towards with family home, presumably to check up on his parents – Marcus and Anya. Luckily, the two of them can take care of themselves.
We still don’t know if the Fenix homestead will be a playable level in Gears of War 4, but one might assume so after watching the trailer.
Last week it was confirmed that the game will be released on Xbox One and PC on October 11, and that it will feature split-screen co-op, just like all the previous games in the franchise.
If you can’t wait until October 11 for your GoW4 action, you can join the multiplayer beta on April 18 if you played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. If not, you’ll have to wait till April 24 when the beta goes open.
