Publisher Square Enix has finally released Kingdom Hearts Unchained X to North American audiences. Director Tetsuya Nomura wrote a letter to the fans detailing his excitement, as well as the game’s journey westward.
To see the game in colorful action, you can watch the launch trailer above. It doesn’t go into too much detail about the story, but fans can check out our rough breakdown to learn more.
After installing the game there is an additional 700mb download, meaning that players should make sure they start a new game while connected to a stable wi-fi connection. This download only happens when starting a brand new game, and occurs in the background during the opening cutscene, so it isn’t too intrusive.
Kingdom Hearts Unchained X is available now for free on iOS and Android devices.
