Blizzard has debuted its first short animation film for Overwatch, covering the origins and stories behind the characters in it’s upcoming character-based first person shooter.
The short film is similar in style of the original teaser trailer Blizzard released to announce the game. However, rather than focusing on introducing multiple characters, this is focused purely on one – Winston.
Titled “Recall”, the animated film follows the backstory of Winston, a genetically engineered gorilla that is also a scientist.
Overwatch is currently in closed beta and is set for a full release on May 24 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
