Tacoma, the next game by Gone Home developer Fullbright, has been delayed for around six months, well into the spring of 2017. Fullbright themselves stated in a blog post that they have “made some decisions about where the game was at and how much time and attention we believe it deserves, and have decided to give it the extra time it needs.”

The decision to delay the game came from the editing or changing or core mechanics and ideas. After some beta testing with trusted developers, Fullbright has decided to rework aspects of the game such as how gravity functions in the facility, or the extent to which the player can “interact meaningfully with the story content in the game”.

However, the developers have also stated that Tacoma will be displayed to the public this summer, hopefully revealing some of its finer aspects and getting people excited for the release early next year.
