Thanks to both Microsoft Game Studios and 343 Industries, the Halo franchise’s disgraced covenant soldier known as The Arbiter will be making his debut in the Xbox One exclusive fighting game – Killer Instinct. The announcement trailer above shows what happens when two hunters battle to the death.
Combined with a unique stage themed after an ancient covenant temple, the Arbiter finds himself confronted by the strange cast of fighters from the titular game. Showing a glimpse at the epic scenery animations behind his Ultra combo, the Arbiter’s overall fighting style appears to be based loosely on Fulgore’s, with the exception that he can also throw plasma grenades.
The Arbiter and his special stage will be appearing among the new fighters in Killer Instinct’s Season 3 later this March on the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.
