The Hitman closed beta is about to commence this weekend, so IO Interactive has released a beta launch trailer. While quite usually, the trailer does let us know we’ll be playing through the game’s intro mission that takes place in an ICA training facility.

This intro mission include an introduction to the core features and gameplay of the finished game. Chronologically, it takes place in the very beginning of the series, and revolves around how Agent 47 joined the ICA and how he meet his long-time handler, Diana Burnwood. It should quite interesting for long-time fans of the franchise.

During the beta, players will have access to two free-form training hits. They will be able to repeat those hits as many times as they like to complete all the challenges and explore the many different ways the targets can be assassinated.

The Hitman closed beta starts February 12 and end February 15. Xbox One owners are out of luck, as the beta is only available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
