The countdown has finally hit 0 and the Oculus Rift is finally available to pre-order. Vut as many expected, the Rift isn’t going to be cheap. In fact the Oculus is going to cost $599 before tax.
Thankfully you’re not just paying for the Rift. The pre-order bundle includes the VR headset, motion-tracking sensor, the Oculus remote, an Xbox One controller and copies of EVE: Valkyrie and Lucky’s Tale.
The first batch of Oculus Rift sets has already been sold out, with an estimated shipping date in May. The next batch is set to ship sometime in June, 2016.
