Lenovo has revealed several new products it will be showing CES this year. We gathered the more interesting products, including new laptops, tablets and what’s in between. Read on to find out what’s new from Lenovo’s ThinkPad product line..
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 YOGA is the first of the many products that were announced. While less suited from gaming, this new laptop should cover your work nees, whether it’s for designing, presenting, contacting someone or simply watching a video. The X1 YOGA easily converts into a tablet, giving you the freedom of working the way you want while delivering rich colors and contrast thanks to its OLED display. The laptop hybrid comes with an Intel Core i7 vPro Processor and Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, and supports 4G LTE-A. With up to 16GB of memory, 1TB of storage and 11 hours of battery life, this slim, light-weight laptop is pretty much perfect from all day-to-day uses.
The ThinkPad X1 Tablet offers a multitude of functionalities through simple modules. The Productivity Module gives you up to 15 hours’ worth of battery usage. Not only that, but the Presenter Module includes a Pico projector and HDMI port for presentations on the go. Finally, if you are looking to create something in 3D, the 3D Imaging Module allows that with its rear-facing Intel RealSense camera.
At just a simple 2.4 pounds, the keyboard that comes with the X1 Tablet and the tablet itself, offer an ultra-light laptop experience. To make this more awesome, the ThinkPad X1 Tablet is the first Tablet to feature LTE Advanced support for a quick connection from wherever you are.
Continuing with the ThinkPad family, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon could very well be one of the most beautifully made notebooks available in today’s generation. Lenovo addressed customers feedback and created new improvements, including more display options, increased memory and storage capacity, improved connectivity, a lighter build weighing in at just 2.6 pounds.
Because of this, Lenovo have given the ThinkPad X1 Caron a 1TB high-density, low-power Samsung M.2 NVMe SSD storage, that offers up to five times the speed of a standard SATA SD. They have included the Qualcomm Snapdragon X7 LTE modem with 4G LTE Advanced Carrier Aggregation support to give download speeds of up to 300Mbps.
