The fourth episode of Minecraft: Story Mode, entitled “A Block and A Hard Place”, will be releasing universally on December 22. Players will be able to download the new episode through the PlayStation Network, Xbox Games store, Steam and app stores on the same day ensuring that everyone around the world can continue their journey together.
In episode 4, as the Wither Storm looms closer to our heroes Jesse and Reuben, they discover a possible way to destroy the Command Block at the heart of the monster and save the day. The only problem is, they’ll have to venture out into the Farlands in order to obtain this power. An uneasy alliance looms over this quest, and may even tear them apart along the way.
According to the official press release, this will be last of the episodes slated for 2015, with the “Mysterious Fifth Episode” resuming early next year. The strangely foreboding wording of the new episode does seem to suggest that something big may happen in the last episode of 2015, with the strongest possibility being an epic cliffhanger, but as of now there is no real way to tell.
