Epic Games have officially revealed their next project to be Paragon, a new MOBA with “explosive action, direct third-person control, and deep strategic choice.” The announcement came with a trailer showing the game’s visuals and the capabilities of the Unreal Engine 4. Judging by what’s going on in the trailer, it is obvious they at least got the “explosive action” part right.
While only five heroes were revealed so far, the roster will be much bigger, and will continue to grow well after launch. As with any MOBA, each hero will have its own style and abilities, which we can clearly see in action in the announcement trailer, or in the short gameplay video that was released with it.
Both videos look absolutely amazing, and it seems like Paragon is shaping up to be the sort of game that will be fun to both play and watch. Paragon is set to be released on PC and PlayStation 4 in 2016.
