Live from the PlayStation Experience 2015 show floor in San Francisco, Sony and Square Enix have debuted the first official gameplay from the Final Fantasy VII remake. The in-game graphics signal the beautifully polished look the remake will enjoy, but the grand reveal of exploration and combat gameplay shows that this is a whole new experience.
The action is hot and heavy this time around, as the classic turn based combat has been completely replaced by the more intense gameplay found in the demo for Final Fantasy XV. The trailer shows off a fair amount of both Cloud and Barret, and their new models look incredibly detailed.
With the advent of new-generation technology, fans of the series can finally play the characters they saw in the beautiful pre-rendered cutscenes all those years ago. There is still no official word yet when Final Fantasy VII may be released, but from the looks of the game right now, the wait will be well worth it.Some of our posts include links to online retail stores.
