Vblank Entertainment has announced their new game Shakedown Hawaii. According to the official announcement, this is the sequel to the studio’s previous title – Retro City Rampage.
Shakedown Hawaii is set in a 16-bit open world, powered up with destructible environments and an arsenal of supercharged weapons. The sequel takes place some 30 years after the events of Retro City Rampage, and follows the player as he tries to rebuild his corporate empire.
The announcement trailer would sure looks familiar to anyone who played the original title, and features the same great soundtrack and wanton destruction.
Shakedown Hawaii is being developed for the PC, PlayStation 3, PS Vita and 3DS. Attendees of the PlayStation Experience event on December 5-6 will get a change to play it for the first time.
