Games of Thrones just ended its first season a few days ago, but Telltale Games has already confirmed that much like winter, a second season is coming.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Telltale CEO Kevin Bruner said, “After this week’s finale, I’m pleased to officially confirm that there will be a second season of Telltale’s Game of Thrones series and that it’s currently in development.”

Bruner continued on to confirm that choices made in season one’s finale, as well as along the entire season, will have a great effect on season two.  “…choices you made play a huge role in the second season. We’ve been planning the second season all along, but I really shouldn’t be revealing more than that,” he said, and rightly so.

“Beyond this season, we know that the choices made will have long-lasting effects on later episodes… but we’re still not quite ready to go into detail,” Bruner concluded.

You can read the entire interview over at THR, but beware – it is long and full of spoilers.

Game of Thrones – Episode 6: The Ice Dragon, and the entire first season, is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, as well iOS and Android devices.
