The upcoming MMO Crowfall has been funded on Kickstarter since February 25, 2015. Since the project was launched, the developers, ArtCraft Entertainment, have raised $1,766,204 of the original pledged goal of only $800,000. That is a massive accomplishment on their end and the game is showing for it.
The developers will be opening up the next test this November. The test will feature the game’s combat system, and is only available through invitations. These invitations will be sent to backers with the pre-alpha, alpha 1 and alpha 2 rewards It’s not tp late to back the game and gain access to this, and any future tests. Visit the official Crowfall website to do so.
Open testing will begin at the end of 2016, so there is still quite a while to go before the official launch.
For the people that don’t know, Crowfall is a “seamless blend of a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing game, and a large-scale game of territorial conquest.” Players will take the roles of knights, villains, kings and queens, and fight for control over a virtual throne. We know what you’re thinking, and yes – Crowfall is indeed very similar to the hit TV-show and popular book series – Game of Thrones.
