Detailing some tips and tricks for the new game, Star Wars Battlefront is celebrating the last few days before release with a brand new developer diary. The diary is once again narrated by one of the developers at DICE, except that this time around, they want to help show some of the alternatives to running directly into battle.
In addition to ways to stay alive as a hero, the diary also showcases two new battle modes called Hero Hunt, and Heroes v.s. Villains. In Hero Hunt, one player will take charge of a hero while everyone else is fighting to kill them, with the winner taking on the hero after the winning kill. In Heroes v.s. Villains, players will only utilize the hero characters in one of the most epic, Star Wars style duels.
The Season Pass update that has accompanied this news is a full report that shows exactly what players are in for when they purchase the season pass alongside the game. Some of the minor aspects include the exclusive access to new emotes within the game, and two-week early access to each new expansion. Additionally, players will also get four new game modes to play, 16 new multiplayer maps, 4 exclusive playable heroes, and over 20 vehicles and star cards to collect. The details of all of these have yet to be officially announced.
Star Wars Battlefront is shaping up to be a thickly packaged title that will take players at light speed to a galaxy far, far away when it’s released on November 17, for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
