Star Wars Battlefront: Battle of Jakku is the first free DLC coming to Star Wars Battlefront in December. For those not in the know, Jakku is s desert planet that will appear in Star Wars: The force Awakens. The Battle of Jakku takes place 29 years before the movie, and depicts a war between New Republic forces and a few Imperial holdouts. To tell you the truth, its kind hard to tell who’s winning.
The teaser traielr above gives a a very short glimpse on what it is like to take part in the Battle of Jakku. With debris all around you, X-Wings zooming across the sky and Star Destroyers crashing down from orbit, it feels like a truly epic battle.
Gamers who pre-order Star Wars Battlefront will gain access to the new maps on December 1. Everyone else will have to wait a week till December 8. And yes, it will still be absolutely free.
Star Wars: Battlefront will arrive on November 17, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
