Bad news for PC gamers, as Warner Bros. Interactive has officially offered a full refund to players who purchased a copy of Batman: Arkham Knight for their personal computer. Ever since the initial launch of the title across all platforms, the PC version was so riddled with bugs that it was deemed unplayable and pulled from the market.
A few weeks ago, the game was returned to digital shelves and publicized for having solved the game breaking bugs. Warner Bros. and developers Rocksteady Studios worked tirelessly to bring the game back, however, as of now, the game was deemed to be so broken, that they have decided that full refunds were the only reasonable way to go.
An official apology from Warner Bros. stated, “We are very sorry that many of our customers continue to be unhappy with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. We worked hard to get the game to live up to the standard you deserve but understand that many of you are still experiencing issues.”
The statement continued on to say that the refunds for PC versions of the game will be available to consumers through the end of 2015. For players who still hold faith in the game, Warner has also announced that they will continue to pursue the game’s issues in order to create the Gotham that their fans deserved when the game first launched.
