Apart from being the world’s greatest detective, Sherlock Holmes stars in a pretty good series of video games, which is now getting a new entry. Developer Frogwares and publisher Bigben Interactive have banded together to bring Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The game will follow in the footsteps of Sherlock Holmes: Crime & Punishment, the previous title in the series, and will feature multiple cases for Sherlock and his trusty companion Watson to solve. These five cases will involve ” family stories, irresistible emotions and an occult revenge,” according to the official statement. The Devil’s Daughter also promises an “unprecedented experience” thanks to a blend of new game mechanics and fast-paced action sequences.
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter is currently scheduled for spring 2016, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. As someone who played all previous Sherlock Holmes games by Frogwares, I have to say I’m kind of excited. Are you eager to see the return of Sherlock Holmes, or do you think it is time to retire the veteran detective?
