Davey Wreden, the man behind the brilliant The Stanley Parable, has released a new video game called The Beginner’s Guide. You can, if you try really hard, get some idea of what the game is about by watching the trailer above.
Much like The Stanley Parable, The Beginner’s Guide forgoes any traditional gameplay mechanics and instead runs purely on narrative. According the the game’s official website, the game “tells the story of a person struggling to deal with something they do not understand.” Something like the aforementioned trailer, perhaps.
