Rare has put together a showcase of concept art for the canceled game – Conker: Gettin’ Medieval.
Conker, the foul mouthed squirrel of the titular game series, looks family friendly in comparison to the new characters and creations showcased in developer Rare’s new video of the game that almost was.
Conker: Gettin’ Medieval was going to be an always online multiplayer game that takes the classic characters of Conker: Live & Reloaded and turns them into their medieval counter points in a game that is centered around death. The title would have been incredibly innovative for the time as it featured always online gameplay and apparently mounted combat as well.
It is a shame that Conker: Gettin’ Medieval was never released, but now that Rare is paying a little more attention to it, we may get something similar to this for the new generation of consoles.
