Rocksteady has taken to the internet to announce their all new Batman: Arkham Knight DLC and more!
Starting with the 2008 Tumbler pack, this DLC features two new skins and is available now for both PlayStation and Xbox owners. The new skins include the original Bat-suit from Batman: Arkham Asylum, in addition to a retrofitting of the Bat-mobile to look like the Tumbler from 2008’s hit film, The Dark Knight.
Featuring two test tracks modeled from the same film, the new DLC is available to players who purchased the Season Pass, but can also be downloaded for $1.69 from the online marketplace. The Batman skin, however, can be downloaded for free.
Also taking the time to let gamers know what the next batches of downloadable content will feature, Warner Bros. Interactive were more than excited to show off whats in store for season pass holders at the end of this month.
Available on September 29th, pass holders will be able to instantly download the second Crime Fighter Challenge Pack. This new pack features both Free-flow Combat and Stealth Combat missions for Batman, Nightwing, Robin, Catwoman and the Bat-mobile. Also available the same day is the GCPD Lockdown story mission, in which players must stop the Penguin from escaping his cell in Gotham’s police department.
Last, but most certainly not least is the thickly packaged DLC that will be available just in time for Halloween. Â The additional content features a new retro skin for the Bat-mobile based on the classic 1960’s T.V. show, as well as two new tracks based on the same series, and retro skins for Catwoman and Robin.
A third Crime Fighter Challenge map will be available for Batman, Nightwing, Robin and Azrael, but more importantly, Catwoman will finally get her revenge! Catwoman’s Revenge will be the newest story content which follows Catwoman as she prowls the streets of Gotham seeking revenge for what the Riddler did to her.
Each of the new DLC adds all new levels of fun to the incredible game and will be available for both the PlayStation 4 as well as the Xbox One, but stay tuned for more news regarding the PC version of the game in the next couple weeks.
