We’ve got sad news for all your tactical alien hunters – XCOM 2 has be delayed to February 2016.
The XCOM 2 development team has released a statement to all XCOM fans, saying they just need more time to bring us the best XCOM game they can make.
“We’ve set a high bar for the sequel and the entire team has been working hard to make sure we deliver a great follow-up to Enemy Unknown,” reads the statement. “We just need a little more time to make it the best possible game.”
“With XCOM 2, we want to have more depth, more replayability, and more investment in your soldiers and this extension will give us the time we need to deliver on our promise to you.”
XCOM 2 will now reach PCs across the world on February 2016, instead of November 2015.
