Crystal Dynamics’ Rise of the Tomb Raider will feature the option of non-lethal gameplay, if you’re into that sort of thing. This is evident in the new gameplay video below, that shows a stealthy way to conquer the game’s Gamescom 2015 demo.

The video showcases the increasingly popular stealth or “Non-lethal” gameplay, where the player utilizes their surroundings in an area that is densely populated with enemies. While significantly less visually interesting, this type of gameplay offers a new vantage point on the level design.

Instead of running and gunning their way around the map, players can now use their weapons to distract enemies and sneaking past them to avoid conflict in a huge crowd. While the manor of which players choose to play the game is entirely up to them, it is always nice to know that there are alternatives to what is historically the more obvious choice.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is a timed exclusive that will be released on November 10 for the Xbox One and Xbox 360, with a later release in 2016 planned for the PC and PS4 versions.
