Square Enix and Disney Interactive have collaborated to bring you the world of the award-winning movie Big Hero 6 to the much-anticipated Kingdom Hearts 3.
This announcement was made during D23 Expo 2015 via a video message from award-winning producer of both Tangled and Big Hero 6, Roy Conli, though details from him were scarce.
The worlds of Kingdom Hearts are known for not just showing off the franchises that make up the fantastic games, but rather the attention to detail and rich stories that the interaction of Sora and company have with them. The urban city-scape of San Fransokyo is where Sora and his Disney companions will travel to continue the events of the film. Baymax is confirmed to appear, but whether the rest of the BH6 cast will show up is another story.
“Big Hero 6 is such a special film for me – and we always made sure that each action sequence had a very special meaning. The themes in Kingdom Hearts and Big Hero 6 match very well,” Conli states. “For instance there’s friendship, really important to both stories, and then of course light over darkness.”
