During this year’s Arks festival, Sega has announced it is bringing its incredibly popular Phantasy Star Online 2 to the PlayStation 4 next year.
Sega went on to reveal that the PS4 version of the game will launch alongside the highly anticipated Reborn: Episode 4, which are due out in late 2016 as well. Additionally, it was also announced that a special PSO fan event would take place in six currently unspecified cities between December 23 and March 21.
The event was also home to the official unveiling of the new Phantasy Star Online Anime, but it seems pretty safe to assume that the gamers are more excited about their favorite Online RPG coming to the PlayStation 4 sometime in 2016.
Phantasy Star Online 2 was released initially for the PC in 2012 and later for the PlayStation Vita in 2013. Today the game is still wildly popular, with over 3.5 million users currently playing.
