The third Star Wars Battlefront developer diary shows the full power of Fighter Squadron mode.
Episode 3 of DICE’s developer diaries features more fan favorite locations as the team discusses the wide variety of aerial-based vehicles in the new game, and the pain staking research it took to bring them to life.
Within the new Fighter Squadron mode players once again choose between the empire and the Rebels. The Empire’s selection of ships features the traditional TIE-fighter, the incredibly powerful TIE-Interceptor and Boba Fett’s infamous Slave 1. Conversely, the Rebels selection consists of the classic X-wing fighter, the speedy A-wing and Han Solo’s own Millennium Falcon.
In order to properly realize these spaceships in their proper magnitude, the developers were given an unprecedented access to the LucasFilm vaults and the perfectly preserved models of every ship, prop and original design.
Star Wars: Battlefront will be available for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 17.
