EA has released the first legitimate gameplay footage from Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. the reboot / prequel of 2008’s Mirror’s Edge. According to the short description, this video shows “the moment where Faith begins her rise from a carefree runner to the hero the city needs,” Much like a certain Caped Crusader.
The gameplay trailer lets us experience Faith’s speed, ability and powerful kicks in the first-person. It is clear DICE has worked very hard to improve upon the original title and unlock its full potential.
This is an actual mission from a very early stage in the game, and it sure looks promising. And also beautiful – it’s impossible to ignore just how amazing the visuals of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst are, even when all you see is a faceful of wall.
Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will be released on February 25, 2016 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
