Deep Silver has pulled back the curtain from Homefront: The Revolution by releasing not one, but two videos of the game. The first is a cinematic trailer that helps set the mood for the next one, so you better watch it first. I think it conveys the spirit of oppression and revolution quite well.
As you might have guess, in Homefront: The Revolution Korea has unified and conquered the United States under the communist banner. This, of course, doesn’t sit well with some the locals, and a small but stubborn resistance group form at the outskirts of Philadelphia.
You are one of those rebels, fighting against the Korean oppressor using guerrilla tactics, such as ambushes, hit-and-run strikes and whatever weapons you can pry from your enemy’s lifeless fingers. The second video release in a gameplay demo, showing the player doing just that.
Homefront: The Revolution is scheduled for release in Spring 2016 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Xbox One owners will get access to a mutliplayer beta starting this winter.
