Rise of the Tomb Raider is most of Xbox One’s most anticipated exclusive, timed as it may be. As such, Microsoft wanted it to take a place of honor in its Gamescom 2015 conference, so they showed a rather lengthy gameplay demo on stage. See it below and be amazed.
This demo is very different than the one we saw at E3 earlier this year, and shows a much more open area for Lara to sneak, assassinate and shoot her way through. While the gameplay seems very similar to that of 2013’s Tomb Raider, we do get to see few new features.
For example, Lara can now shot all sorts of arrows from her bow, including gas arrows and explosive arrows. The novice raider even learn how to kill two birdies with one stone, or should I say two baddies with one very impressive shot. There’s also a sort of on-the-go crafting system that allows Lara for craft molotovs and pipe bombs mid-battle.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10, with the PC and PS4 version to follow in 2016. Thanks goes to AllGamesBeta from the video.
