Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. Games Montreal have announced that the first story driven downloadable content for Batman: Arkham Knight is Batgirl: A Matter of Family.

Developed by Warner Bros. Games Montreal, this DLC breaks new ground with this new downloadable content as this will be the first time players get the chance to experience the Batgirl, AKA Barbra Gordon, in her prime. The content will be available on July 21 for $6.99 from the PlayStation store and Xbox One marketplace, however, gamers who bought the Arkham Knight Season Pass will gain access to the content on July 14.

The plot of the story is still as illusive as the Dark Knight himself, but it was revealed that the new story’s timeline will take place before the events of Arkham Asylum and the horrific encounter that left Barbara in a wheelchair. The DLC will also feature a whole new area with its own missions, side quests and super-villains, as well as a new hacking tool exclusive to Batgirl.

Fans who are excited for the release, may have first noticed the easter egg hidden in Gotham’s clocktower. A secret door can be opened to reveal a beautifully detailed model of Batgirl’s armor, surrounded by a scrapbook of newspaper clippings from her time spent as a vigilante.

Batgirl: A Matter of Family will be available for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
