Sony has posted the extended E3 gameplay demo of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. This is a slightly longer version of what Naughty Dog showed during Sony’s E3 2015 conference.

Although a slight blunder with a controller during the actual conference was conveniently edited out, the action packed in-game footage is stunningly beautiful. The video also shows that Naughty Dog had something spectacular in store for the next-generation debut of Nathan Drake.

Beginning with an easy escape from a pirate tomb, Nathan and partner-in-crime Sully find themselves stuck in the middle of a crowded marketplace. Together, they must hurry to save Nathan’s brother Sam in the midst of a heist that has gone horribly wrong. The chase quickly ensues with the appearance of several armed cars, and Drake is forced to commandeer a vehicle of his own as he races to rescue his endangered sibling.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is due out next year exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
