Microsoft and Rare had two great announcements at E3 this year with the Rare Collection and what looks to be a pirate MMO in the works. Here’s the video of what they revealed at their conference:

Legendary titles such as Banjo Kazooie, Perfect Dark, Conker’s Bad Fur Day, Battletoads, Kameo, and others were toted as being part of the Rare Replay Collection. This bundle will feature over 30 games, allowing you to relive your greatest memories, or experience them for the first time. I can’t wait to get my hands on Conker and Battletoads again, and it looks like they’ll be keeping the older style gameplay intact.

Also announced was Sea of Thieves, a possible MMO that features Rare’s classic humor with pirates. Searching beautiful, long lost islands for treasure has never looked and felt so great, from the sandy beaches to groves of tall palm trees with skeletons at the base. In addition, it seems like piloting your own pirate ship complete with a crew of fellow players will be available, as well as encountering other pirates on the high seas. Will you engage them and successfully steal their booty, or will you end up at the bottom of Davy Jones’ locker with naught but a cannonball for company?

The Rare Replay Collection hits shelves August 4, 2015 exclusively for Xbox One, while Sea of Thieves has yet to get a release date, but will also be an Xbox One exclusive.
