The first ever gameplay trailer for Total War: Arena has been released, debuting exclusive Alpha footage of the beautiful and fast-paced titleĀ in the award-winning Total War series. Check it out below!
The trailer shows off some pretty good graphics, especially for alpha footage, including some stirring images from the Battle of Thermopylae, as well as many other epic scenes of grand battle.
Announced in the trailer is the team-based strategy typical of the series, along with the fact that it will be Free-to-Play. Taking from their long experience with the Total War series, the game is made from the ground up, designed specifically for multiplayer realtime strategy fans, with 10vs10 battles. A Closed Alpha is available for sign up at www.totalwar.com/arena. Though only available in Europe for the moment, US servers are to be added soon.
Total War: Arena is still a PC exclusive, and will be released for free later this year.
