The evil-doers at Codemasters are finally ready to do that monologue part, where the villain reveals its master plan in intricate detail. It appears that Codemasters plan to bring the world to its knees with Overlord: Fellowship of Evil – a co-op action RPG filled with chaos, destruction and general evilness.
Players will pick one out of four potential Overlords – the brutal Inferna, the devilish Malady, the dwarven rouge Hakon or the dark elf Prince Ctyos – and set out to complete the Trials of Evil, set by Minion Master Gnarl.
Don’t worry – you won’t be going alone. Up to four players can work together to overcome the challenges ahead. Don’t like your friends? Fellowship of Evil will let you screw them over any chance you get. After all, there can only be one Overlord.
Overlord: Fellowship of Evil plays a bit differently than previous titles, but we’re promised the “unique blend of subversive humor and destruction” that made the series such a fan-favorite.
“Finally the secret dark rituals have paid off!” said writer Rhianna Pratchett. “I’m often asked if there’ll be another Overlord game, so it’s wonderful to be back in black helping to create a new carnage-filled evil ride. This is one game franchise which has been as fun to develop as it is to play, and Fellowship of Evil is no exception. And don’t worry, there will be sheepies. We have plans for them. Oh yes!”
Overlord: Fellowship of Evil will invade digital stores on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in 2015.
