Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has not been announced yet, or even revealed to be in development, but that didn’t stop the internet from finding out about it and getting its hands on a few screenshots.
Russian website Kanobu.ru has posted screenshots and concept art allegedly taken from Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Following this leak, Game Informer has decided to reveal the the game is set to feature on the cover of the May issue. A few more details about the game were also revealed.
While we don’t know much about the game’s plot, we do know player choices will affect both gameplay and story. Below you’ll find a short synopsis taken from Game Informer’s coverage:
Set in 2029, two years after the events of Human Revolution, Adam Jensen returns and joins forces with an Interpol-funded task force aiming to hunt down and capture augmented terrorists in a world that now hates and fears transhumans. Jensen has a new suite of augmentations that allow him to cleverly navigate stealth, combat, and social interactions, but how Jensen chooses to solve every problem is entirely up to you.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is set to be announced tomorrow, Wednesday April 8. We’ll know more about the game then, including when it will come out on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
