Halo 5: Guardians will be released worldwide, exclusively on Xbox One, on October 27, 2015.

The news came to us through two new live-action trailers released earlier today, during “The Walking Dead” season finale. The first trailer, titled The Hall, shows UNSC’s top manhunter Spartan Locke baring down on an injured Master Chief, just as we saw in a leaked image a month ago.

The second trailer, titled The Cost, shows the exact opposite. This time it is Master Chief who pulls out a gun on a wounded Locke. Both videos happen in the same location, so you know they can’t be two different parts of the campaign. “Which version is true? Who is the hunter and who is the hunted?”

Does this mean we can choose to play as either Master Chief or Spartan Locke? Probably not, but maybe we’ll do get to play both at different levels during the campaign.

Once again, Halo 5: Guardians is out October 27 on Xbox One. Watch the two videos below.
