The Legend of Zelda on the Wii U, the one you’ve all been waiting for since the those first promotional videos for the system in 2012, will probably not make its 2015 release window. The news came from The Legend of Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma. You can see him in the in the video below, where he addresses Nintendo fans worldwide and explains the decision to postpone the game.
Furthermore, according to a tweet release by Nintendo of America, The Legend of Zelda Wii U won’t even make it in time for E3 2015. Sad news indeed for anyone hoping to see more of the game. Hopefully, when the game will come out it will everything everybody expect it to be. After all, this is probably why you have a Wii U in your home in the first place.
Mr. Aonuma & team will be hard at work on #Zelda and have decided not to show it @ E3. Thanks for your patience! https://t.co/bwu3nd3fNi

The Legend of Zelda Wii U was originally supposed to be released by the end of 2015. No new released window was offered, so it’s anyone’s guess what the future holds for the series. More remakes maybe?
