Codemasters, developer of Overlords 1 and 2, is teasing the return of the franchise by tweeting an image of the Overlord’s iconic helmet with the caption “Ohhh shi……. RUNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!”
Nothing outside of this picture was officially confirmed, but the image does closely hint that not only will there be an announcement, but it is like to happen soon. Eager gamers can follow Minion Master Gnarl’s newly opened Twitter account.
This marks eight years since the original Overlord was released, and six since the release of its sequel. It appears that all is not lost for this incredibly fun IP.
