Valve is looking forward to showing off their brand new Virtual Reality headset at this year’s GDC.
Though the company usually makes these types of announcements at the “Steam Developer Days”,no such conference was planned for this year. The reveal comes as a bit of a surprise even though the company has talked about tooling around with the technology, yet until today, never expressed any real interest in developing for it.
Also set to be revealed is the final version of the Steam controller, in addition to several other new pieces of hardware including new Steam Machines and previously unannounced “living room devices.”
This year’s Game Developer’s Conference is set to take place in San Francisco, CA on March 2-6.Some of our posts include links to online retail stores. We get a small cut if you buy something through one of our links. Don't worry, it doesn't cost you anything extra.
