Atari has announced it is re-imagining the classic arcade shooter Asteroids as Asteroids: Outpost – a multiplayer, open world survival game for the PC. ‘
Players must survive in the harsh conditions of deep space whiling exploring and mining a huge asteroid. They will gather resources and ore to craft equipment and build bases. Bases they will then have to defend from other players invading their territory.
Since Asteroids: Outpost is a multiplayer game, gamers will either join forces or fight for superiority.
